Wedding :: Lauren & Jake

A couple months ago I had the privileged of shooting Lauren & Jake’s wedding with Nicola Herring. We had a beautiful
day for shooting. It was slightly overcast and the lighting was really nice and soft. I was able to work with the guys while they were getting ready and got to shoot their 2 year old son Cole while he got ready with the guys. While we were all waiting, the groomsman were helping Cole throw sticks in the little stream. Later Cole showed off his skills to the bridesmaids.

If you are looking to book a wedding contact Nicola @ http://nicolaherring.com/. Make sure you mention Brad Halladay sent you!

Check out a sample of images I was able to capture.

Tyler & Alison

Last night Tyler and Alison got married! Tyler is my wife’s cousin who graduated from West Point this past year. I was asked to video the wedding. I’m not a videographer, but we made the most of it. I think Tyler and Ali will enjoy it. I ‘rented’ a video camera from a good buddy Ben Harris of Design Wave Audio / Triumph Expressions (http://www.triumphexpressions.com).

Towards the end of the ceremony the wedding party gathered around the bride and groom and had a time of pray. At this time I had the video camera locked on the group, so I reached behind me as I was in the balcony at that time and grabbed my D700. The wedding photographer was down on the floor shooting, and I thought I had a pretty good angle from where I was in the balcony. So I decided to fire off a couple quick shots.

The reception was at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, PA. It was a really cool brick building. I wish I had more shots, but again I was shooting video.

The couple had rented a photo booth setup for guests to enjoy, and there seemed to be a lot of enjoyment with that.
